JANUARY Third Thursday Lunch: “The state of homelessness in Louisville” with Natalie Harris, the Executive Director of the Coalition for the Homeless

presented by Fellowship of Reconciliation and Sowers of Justice Network

You are invited to join the discussion VIRTUALLY via Zoom, but the event will also be live-streamed. Details below.

January 20 | Noon-1:00 PM
Featured Speaker: Natalie Harris

Ms Harris will speak about how the affordable housing crisis and segregation in Louisville affect those who are unable to afford or maintain housing in our community.  In addition to statistics showing who and how many people are in need of housing, she will share how things have changed even more rapidly during COVID – in good and bad ways – and how we can  work to make things better in the future.

Natalie Harris joined The Coalition for the Homeless, a nonprofit organization committed to advocacy, education and collaboration on the issues of homelessness in April of 2010. The Coalition is a member agency of over 30 homeless shelter and service providers serving Louisville and Jefferson County, Kentucky. They have a staff of 25 and a budget of over $5 million, much of it pass-through funding to homeless service providers. Natalie was responsible for working to create Rx:Housing/Louisville an effort to end both veteran and chronic homelessness in Louisville.
