Kentuckians’ civil rights and civil liberties are imperiled in our current political environment. ACLU of Kentucky Executive Director, Amber Duke, will discuss the organization’s current legal and policy docket, as well as preview the issues expected to take center stage during the General Assembly’s long session beginning on January 2, 2024.
Amber Duke has been with the ACLU of KENTUCKY for 10 years, serving as a key leader in it’s growth and visibility. During her tenure she has worked as the organization’s first Communications Director. first Deputy Director, and is now the first Black woman to lead the ACLU of KENTUCKY in its 67 years history.
